Why Do People Fail To Make Money Online?
Im currently in Manchester with my brother Andrew Fox, Chris X from dayjobkiller, Michael Cheney and a few other top internet marketers. I’ll have some cool video footage for you soon. But yesterday evening we were having an interesting chat and something that came up why do people fail to make money online even when they have access to great learning materials and resources. It’s sparked my brain and I woke up this morning, stuck the coffee on and decided to write this post. (As i type this my brother has the camera pointed at me, assh*le 
Its a pretty challenging question as to why people fail to make money online and one that you cannot instantly provide a 100% fool proof answer for but at the end of the day every problem has a solution.
I dont know you or your circumstances, I also dont know if you make loads,decent or no money online but what Im about to tell you will help you to improve your overall business as it is these fundamentals that if you pay attention to then it cant help but to increase your overall output.
Whether you want to make money or you want to make more money the key is the overall planning. You need to look at what you main revenue getting source is first of all. Ask yourself the question “what do you do that makes you the most money?” Now if your not making any then dont worry this will still apply to you. All you need to do is figure out what your most comfortable with and were your strengths lay at.
You see if your making any sort of moolah online then what your doing to make that cash is your main strength.
For a long time I built websites and got a ton of free traffic from google, im still doing that and it is providing me we a nice income from affiliate sales and adsense however this year ive decided to begin sharing my knowledge and helping people do what I do.
Listen when i started i worked my ass of, i had no money to fund my business and really did start from scratch. In-fact i was on $60 a week on government benefits.
Now I was realistic and didnt expect to make huge lumps of money overnight, in saying that it took me way longer that what i expected to start making decent cash but when you start from zero that tends to be the way of it.
For the past five years i have been doing this, going about my own business and watching people selling products that contain the latest techniques, some of these courses were going for over a grand. Did it bother me that i had been doing the very same thing or something similar 6-7 months prior and now some guy was coming in and making a bomb?
Not at all because things were good for me and it wasnt stopping me from making money. Yes i often thought things were overpriced, people were paying to much or even being ripped of but at the end of the day its there decision to spend that kind of money. Now everyone has been burned in the past, ive been burned several times buying shitting products that claimed to the magic button that would make me wealthy. Over time you begin to realize one simple but true fact…
We have to take responsibility for our own actions and if we are not as successful as we wish to be then it is our fault. If we buy shitty products it is our fault. If we buy products and dont even bother using what we have learned it is our fault. If we our to busy then it is our fault.
So if your looking to make money online starting today then what you need to do is figure out your strength, work on it and PLAN!
Planning has to be one of the most overlooked factors when it comes to building a business. Without a plan your nothing. Plan every step and be realistic about it.
If you have never made a cent online then dont plan to make a million in a year or 10,000 grand a month within 6 months. It’s unrealistic, im not saying it wont happen but the chances are very slim.
Plan each step to be achievable as doing so will help you to create momentum. As you complete each step you grow in confidence and by fully focusing on each step you will see results which in turn give you even more confidence.
What am Im trying to say in this, write down your goals, make a plan of what you need to do to achieve your goals, then go out there and do it.
Only you know your strengths, only you know what way you want to take your business.
Generate lots of free traffic, use ppc, build and opt-in list, promote affiliate products, do all I’ve just mentioned. It’s up to you so take the responsibility but dont try to do everything at once. Take your time to learn and truly become a master of what your doing before you move on to the next stage. Growth doesnt happen overnight, growth happens over a sustained period of time.

When I first started trying to make an income on the Internet in 1996 I made the mistake of believing everything that I read. This had disasterous results. Very early on my upline started a mailing campaign from my computer andI son got bannedfrom that program for spamming! The net result was that I ceased to trust anybody.
In 1996 a very persistent guy persuaded me to sign up for one-on-coaching at a cost of US$8,000. He sent me masses of printed material and I got 30 minutes of telephone coaching every week! After 5 months it became obvious that we were making zero progress so I stopped wasting any more time or money joining expensive affiliates with expensive products.
Now at the age of 75 I am back and there seems to bea new breed “Good Samaritans” who appear to be determined to create some degree of integrity to the Internet and I believe that you are one of them.
There are a lot of sharks in the water. The fact is and always has been that I have no problem investing in my business aslong as there are results. The theory of you need to spend money to make money. But to often most products either totally mislead you into the thinking that your going to become rich overnight. That will never happen. From my experience making money takes time and sometimes you have to learn the hard way.
Also to often people have products/services that are just pure crap, cant really think of any other way of putting it. And these people in my opinion are scum. This just gives everyone a bad name.
There are good marketers/products/services out there. But the sad fact remains that these are few and far between.
